Yes — connecting any solar or battery system to a switchboard is licensed electrical work. That's built into every install we do, not an extra you need to arrange separately.
Can I add a battery to an existing grid-tied solar system?
Yes — hybrid retrofits (adding battery backup to panels you already have) are one of our most common jobs, especially for households wanting backup power during outages.
How long does an off-grid install take?
Once a system is designed and parts are on site, most installs take one to two days depending on complexity. System design and planning happens before that.
